Full-time (8 hours/day) · Reports to: Business Development Manager
Position Purpose
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for filling the top of our sales pipeline with qualified leads. The role combines two parts: building and running lead generation across multiple channels (outbound outreach, partnerships, communities, content-driven and AI-powered channels) and meeting the sales plan for each channel — and qualifying inbound leads so they are ready for the Business Development Manager, who owns the closing stage.
This is a hands-on role for someone who treats lead generation as a system: tests channels, measures results, automates what works and uses AI tools as a daily instrument rather than a buzzword.
How the time is split:
- ~70% — Lead generation. Developing and running outbound and partner channels, meeting the sales plan per channel, building automations and AI-assisted workflows around them.
- ~30% — Inbound leads. First response, qualification and handover of inbound leads to the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation Across Channels (~70%)
- Develop and run several lead generation channels in parallel: cold email, LinkedIn, Telegram and WhatsApp outreach, partner and referral channels, communities and events, and new channels you identify and test.
- Own the sales plan for each channel: a monthly target of qualified leads per channel, agreed with the Business Development Manager, and weekly tracking against it.
- Build target lists and ICP segments (founders relocating to the UAE, companies setting up in the UAE, businesses needing accounting and tax support) and keep them clean and up to date.
- Write, test and iterate outreach messaging: sequences, scripts, templates and follow-ups for each channel and segment.
- Test new channels and hypotheses in short cycles, kill what doesn't work and scale what does.
- Report weekly on channel performance: volume, reply rate, qualified leads, cost per qualified lead, and what you're changing next.
2. AI & Sales Automation
- Use AI tools daily for research, list building, personalization, message drafting and lead scoring.
- Build and maintain outreach automations: multi-step sequences, enrichment, triggers and CRM syncs using no-code tools (Make, Zapier, n8n or similar) and outreach platforms (Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, Clay, Expandi or similar).
